Continuing Education FAQ

Yes. Gender Infinity offers CME, CNE, and CEUs. Please be sure to select the appropriate option
during registration so that we know which credits you will be collecting.

Attending the entire conference will earn 10.5 credits of CME, CNE, or CEU. Credits are
commensurate with participation so please sign in/out during each session and fill out the
evaluations as directed.

Yes. You can register for 1-day or 2-day participation in the conference. Attending for 1-day will
earn 5.25 credits and 2-day participation will earn 10.5 credits. If you attend only certain
sessions, you will receive credit based on the time of the session(s) (i.e. 60 minute session = 1
credit hour).
Credits are commensurate with participation so please sign in/out during each session and fill
out the evaluations as directed.

Please be sure to select the appropriate option during registration so that we know which
credits you will be collecting.
Please be sure to fill out the appropriate session and conference evaluations. These will be used
to calculate the credits earned toward continuing education.

You will receive your certificate via email after the conference is complete. Please allow a few weeks for processing and coordination with accrediting organizations. Your certificate may come directly from a Gender Infinity member or from a coordinator at one of the accrediting organizations.

If you have not received your certificate by December 11, 2020, please email CE@genderinfinity.org to inquire.

When you registered for professional credits, your name was added to a list. This list will be
used by volunteers to track when you log-in to the conference in the morning, and when log-
out in the afternoon. They will be entering this information onto the sign-in sheet.

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family
Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.

AAFP elective credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA
Category 2 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the
AMA PRA, credit earned must be reported as elective credit.

CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA
Category 2 credit.

AAFP credit is also accepted by the following organizations. Please contact them directly about
how participants should report the credit they earned.

contact hours. Louisiana State Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing
continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s
Commission on Accreditation.

Continuing education credits (CEUs) through the University of Houston Graduate College of
Social Work have been approved for the Gender Infinity Conference 2020. Participants can
receive up to 10.5 CEUs if attendance is documented that participation in both full days of the
conference was completed.
For out-of-state attendees, please contact your state licensing boards directly to inquire if
credits will be applicable in your state.
